Weekly Report(06/01/2020-10/01/2020)

        This was the last week in our teaching practice session and was filled with lots of activities. On Tuesday, I had conducted a subject associated activity on the topic sound pollution in 8th standard and most of the students drawn the posters against sound pollution. 




Tuesday afternoon there was an awareness program on" water harvesting and artificial recharge " an initiative by ministry of Jal shakti Government of India.  The respected spokesperson talked about the importance of water and its conservation and different method for recharging water for our requirement. It was a wonderful class and gave immense knowledge to all students. 






We didn't have class n Wednesday due to national strike. 
As a part of B.Ed. curriculum, we have to take a Yoga class for students and our physical education teacher came for our observation on Thursday. I have taught the vrikshasana to the students and a game was played as recreational activity. On the same day afternoon we had a class PTA and one student acquired high score in each class got a cash prize of 1001 rupees during the event and students who passed in all subjects got gifts.


On Friday I have conducted my conscientization programme on the topic "Road Accident". In the afternoon session on behalf of science club we had conducted a seminar on periodic table as a part of "International Year of Periodic Table-2019". The chemistry teacher in St.Vincent HS, Mrs.Catherine Philip inaugurated the seminar and krishnapriya took a class on the topic. During the event students displayed the periodic table made by them and it was a wonderful experience. 

   


Staffs in the St.Vincent school gave a farewell party to us and it was a heart touching moment for all of us. 
These 80 days of teaching practice taught us many lesson and give a new insight on teaching.
